Hearts of Pine and New England Cancer Specialists Announce New Collaboration Supporting Individuals and Families Impacted by Cancer

PORTLAND, Maine — Portland Hearts of Pine andNew England Cancer Specialists (NECS) are partnering on a new community initiative focused on recognizing and supporting those impacted by cancer.

The collaboration will officially be unveiled during the Hearts of Pine match on May 30, a night dedicated to honoring the strength, resilience, and courage of the cancer community and the families who walk beside them.

“We are proud to collaborate with our partners at New England Cancer Specialists to honor the strength and resilience of those fighting cancer in our community,” said Josh Lane, Hearts of Pine’s VP of Marketing. 

Throughout June, the partnership aims to encourage conversation and awareness with visible support for individuals and families navigating cancer journeys of all kinds.
