Donations and Foundations
Support Patients Fighting Cancer
At New England Cancer Specialists, we believe in the power of community and the impact that generosity can have on the lives of those battling cancer. We are often asked how individuals and organizations can best support our patients. Here are two meaningful ways you can contribute in support of patients as they navigate their cancer journey:
Below you will see the foundations that we know are dedicated to supporting cancer patients and their families through various forms of financial assistance. By giving to these foundations you can help provide essential resources that ease the burden of cancer treatment. There are several ways to give:
- Planned Giving: Create a lasting legacy by including the one of these foundations in your estate planning. Your thoughtful generosity will continue to support patients for years to come.
- Direct Donations: Your monetary contributions provide emergency assistance during challenging times.
- Social Fundraisers: Get involved by organizing or participating in social fundraisers. Whether it’s a community event, an online campaign, or a corporate initiative, your efforts can make a significant difference in the lives of those affected by cancer and we can help connect you to foundations that we know support patients fighting Cancer in Maine and New Hampshire.
- Donating Soft Goods: From time to time we are asked if NECS patients could use hats, blankets or clothing. While we don’t always have the ability to store and distribute your items, we encourage reaching out to NECS directly to see if there is a current need. Please ask to speak with a practice manager before bringing in any soft-good donations.
Your generosity in any form, whether through the a foundation or by donating needed comfort items, directly impacts the well-being of cancer patients and their families. Together, we can make a profound difference in their lives. Thank you for your support.
