Radiation Oncology at Rock Row Turns One

One year ago, New England Cancer Specialists welcomed the first patients into our Radiation Therapy Center at Rock Row, marking a major milestone in expanding comprehensive cancer care in Maine. Today, we’re proud to celebrate an incredible first year of service, innovation, and compassionate care.

Over the past twelve months, our Radiation Oncology team has provided advanced, personalized treatment to patients from across the region while working seamlessly alongside our medical oncology, imaging, rehabilitation, pharmacy, genetics, survivorship, and supportive care teams—all conveniently located on one campus.

This milestone reflects far more than a year of operation. It represents the dedication of an exceptional team that has built a program centered on clinical excellence, collaboration, and an unwavering commitment to patients and their families.

As we celebrate this first anniversary, we extend our sincere gratitude to every physician, therapist, physicist, dosimetrist, nurse, radiation therapist, medical assistant, scheduler, and support team member whose dedication has made this achievement possible.
