I’m Dr. Paige Teller, a breast cancer surgeon at New England Cancer Specialists, where I’ve had the privilege of building our surgical breast care program from the ground up. My focus is on providing both benign and oncologic surgical services with a commitment to creating a supportive and collaborative environment that extends beyond typical cancer networks. I believe in making each patient an active participant in their care, ensuring they receive personalized, compassionate attention at every stage of their journey.

I completed my fellowship training in breast surgical oncology at Emory University, and before settling in Maine, I held positions in academic medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina and in a combined private practice and academic setting in Boston through Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. Now, I’m privileged to live in Maine and provide breast specialty care to its residents.

Our breast surgery program is built on strong collaboration with our breast cancer team and referring practices. I truly believe in the power of team-based care, and I’ve made it a priority to create an environment where every member of the care team works in harmony to deliver the best outcomes for our patients. It’s incredibly rewarding to see our program recognized as a destination for breast surgery excellence in New England, where patients trust that they’re receiving the highest standard of care.

Beyond my work as a surgeon, I love being part of the community. I’m always delighted to run into past patients at local events—it’s a joy to reconnect and hear how they’re doing. I challenge myself to step out of my comfort zone in honor of those who have trusted me with their care, and I’m passionate about ensuring that every interaction I have reflects that trust.

I have two sons and love taking advantage of everything Maine has to offer—whether it’s swimming in the beautiful waters, hiking through the stunning landscapes, or hitting the slopes for some skiing.
