Dr. Gottumukkala is a board-certified radiation oncologist who treats a wide range of cancers using various techniques such as SRS, SBRT, VMAT, IGRT and brachytherapy. She is a member of the American Society of Radiation Oncology and the American College of Radiation Oncology. Her treatment philosophy is to focus on patient-centered care – taking the time to get to know her patients, finding out what’s important to them, explaining their diagnosis and treatment options so that they can make the best decisions for themselves, and supporting them through their journey with cancer. Dr. Gottumukkala grew up in Nova Scotia and loves living and working in New England. Outside of medicine, Dr. Gottumukkala enjoys cooking, reading, and hiking with her husband.
