Cancer Survivors’ Day

Cancer has touched almost everyone in some shape or form. To celebrate National Cancer Survivors Month, the Portland Sea Dogs have partnered with New England Cancer Specialists for our first Cancer Survivors Day on Sunday, June 7th. Through the support of New England Cancer Specialists, we are offering a FREE ticket to all cancer survivors to attend that game. You can also purchase additional tickets for family and friends to join you—a portion of each additional ticket sold will be donated to the New England Oncology Foundation.

To purchase a ticket, click the link below and use the Promo Code: SURVIVOR to claim your one free ticket. Only put one ticket in your initial order, and then you will be prompted to “Add-On’ additional tickets for your whole order. Your Survivor ticket will be free, and then additional tickets will be $12+ fees.

All Survivors, their families, and friends will be asked to join us before the game for a pre-game parade around the fields as well, to show support to individuals and families that are battling cancer. Please feel free to wear shirts, make signs, and show up for this important and powerful message. Everyone planning to attend should arrive at the stadium by 12 PM and head to the Upper Parking lot for the parade. When you enter the park, take a right and walk toward first base.

“The Portland Sea Dogs are honored to partner with New England Cancer Specialists for Cancer Survivors Day at Delta Dental Park at Hadlock Field. Through initiatives like our Strike Out Cancer in Kids program and the Mother’s Day 5K, the Sea Dogs are proud to support cancer awareness and raise funds that benefit local families throughout Maine and New Hampshire. Cancer Survivors Day provides a special opportunity to recognize the incredible strength and resilience of survivors while also honoring the families, caregivers, and healthcare professionals who support them every day. We look forward to creating a meaningful and memorable day at the ballpark for our community.
