When Ben was diagnosed with multiple myeloma, a cancer of the blood, he went out of state for treatment. “But it was a long drive, and I always had to wait. So I was thrilled when New England Cancer Specialists opened their office in Kennebunk. They always make me feel important.”

“Multiple myeloma is tricky, so I’ve had a whole team working with me. No matter who sees me on a given day, I always feel important.”

Dr. Ebrahim notes, “Ben’s type of cancer requires long-term treatment and continued monitoring. We constantly work to manage his cancer and the side effects.”

“I’m in the maintenance phase now, and excited to be back to work driving trucks” Ben notes. “I plan to stick around for a long time!”
